Photoshop files

I have several hundred images in photoshop 'psd' format, and would like to convert them to 'jpeg'. Is there any way I can change them in a batch rather than tediously changing them one by one?

Assistance appreciated.

Download "irfanview" and click "File > Batch Conversion/Rename" - that'll do it for you.

If you prefer you an also rename and resize the files at the same time.
Or just stick to converting the all to jpegs.

Thanks for the promp reply stevie - I'll try that when I get home. In work at the moment tho' (off-shore for two weeks) and the company network doesn't allow downloads. Any other method you know of?

..Hi gastwo...I take it you have Photoshop on your PC...but how are your "Photoshopping" skills?

It is quite a simple thing (just tried it) to create an Action to do this.........load up a PSD and start the action recorder then just go through what you want to happen manually on the one pSD file.......like.....Flatten Image then Resize, if you wish and then Save as .jpg then stop the recorder.

Then View/automate/batch will let you select your new Action,set up the folders to take action on and where to save them to etc..........try it it's more rewarding than downloading stuff The Photoshop Help files will show you how. or ask here...........commoner ;-)

BTW stevie I finally managed to beat webwatch and downloaded Irfanview by piggybacking through two websites...
