Just been to Tesco for my weekly shop and was disgusted to see that their own brand Greek style yogurt has been raised from £1 to £1.20!! How can they justify such a hike. And, on a bill of only £32.80, i would have saved £2.80 had i shopped elsewhere. Which i think i may well do in future.

go to Aldi.
I have noticed that quite a few of their items have gone up by 10p or 20p. It all adds up to bigger profits.
What Dot said.....We save about 35% on our weekly shop by going to Aldi
They're all the same .Robbing b's.I usually buy Kerrygold butter in Morrisons.
It's been 1.50 for ages .They've now hiked it up to 1.80 .The yogurts I usually buy have gone up 20p each .You can tell it's getting near Christmas ..lol.
I've noticed Tesco price increases recently, but they keep sending me £10 vouchers to use on my home deliveries.............

I was diagnosed with diabetes a few years back and began eating healthily. Over time i found that both Aldi and Tesco stocked items which helped me prepare a varied and tasty set of menus, so i usually alternate between the two. But, like i said, i may use Aldi for my main shop more often in future.

We don't have a nearby Aldi, bithave saved a lot moving from Tesco to Asda.
I dislike Asda but go there for the pharmacy and fag counter. If I go on Tuesday the shelves are bare. Maybe 10 things on my list but can only buy 5 or 6.
Asda's salmon trimmings went from 98p to £1.50 in a week. Just stopped buying as I can get better quality in Morrisons.
Do what I do, stop buying anything that's put up in price by a certain amount. You would be surprised that a lot of people do that. Sometimes, the price can be reduced after a while.
Yes, get to know the prices and shop at a couple of supermarkets, or more.

When the price is hiked, get it from somewhere else.

I include Waitrose in my portfolio. You would be surprised how often you spot products that are cheaper than at Tescbury's.
we have been using Tesco home delivery for the last few months,,,,,,but I find them very expensive, time for a change!!!!!!!!!
I work for Asda, and apart from buying fish from our local market and meat from my lovely local butcher, I do all my shopping there because I simply can't be bothered going anywhere else. I find their prices pretty competitive and I get a staff discount too :-)
Have to say Asda is better value for me, Alta Rica Coffee is £3. at Asda, but at Sainsburys it's £4.30 and everything else is always much dearer there, but where I live they have the monopoly. We usually go in the car to shop at Asda.
