As we all suspected a complete white wash. Despite many professionals, like Teachers, Police Officers, Social Services being presented by overwhelming evidence that this little chap was being treated appallingly, nobody did anything. And nobody is to blame apparently. Nobody will have any sanctions made against them.

I heard something on the Today program this morning that made brought tears to my eyes. He was kept in a small wooden box, for hours on end. Part of the evidence was that little finger and finger nail marks were found inside the box, as he made desperate attempts to escape. If I close my eyes, I can see those marks.

I despair that something like this can happen in Britain today, and nobody is held respeonsible.

Knowing the bigger picture shold not have come into it. Basic safeguarding practice should have been implemented on the basis of what was already known.

The plight of this poor child will always haunt me as will that of Baby P. I hope to God I would act if I saw a child in this state and in my opinion the teachers had the perfect opportunity as he was at school for several hours every day. Such a waste of a beautiful boy.
It's time that life experience was made as important as a degree in social work
