How often can you water it?
Question Author
Thank you Woofgang. If I'm diligent, I can water every day, but I'm not always diligent....LOL
any shade shrub then, underplanted with bulbs for spring. Use a suitable heavy compost (John Innes number 3 or a tree and shrub compost or a decent ericaceous) and add water retaining gel granules. what colours do you like and do you want scent? Autumn colour? berries?
Google small shrubs for shade for loads of options

Scent would be nice- pot is at front door. Yes, will certainly do the bulb thing. Would muscari do well in shade do you think?

(You don't need to complete all of the fields, just the ones which are relevant to you).
