I have a (kind of) friend popping over this afternoon and need to make lunch.
It has to be quick, hot and easy to make.
I'm not 'trying to impress', it's more of a favour - so nothing too extravagant.

Ideas please? Thanks :-)

Ha! Laughing my little head off at this.
Steak baguettes, toad in the hole, big baps... filth, the lot of you! :P

I went with something complete random in the end. I did chicken and basil ciabatta, with a side salad.
Turned out whatever I made would be weird, as it felt a bit too 'cosy'. Think he went away thinking "note not to return to this house". Lol
