Her one other thread is asking for advice about being stuck in a loveless relationship. So my guess is she is asking for advice about what happens to her if she gets thrown out of the home by her partner.

Not stated explicitly but possibly she is enquiring where she stands with respect to benefits claims (eg will it count as being intentionally homeless?), rights of access to the children (assuming he wins custody due to owning the property etc)

I don't know the answers to these kinds of questions myself, just throwing this suggestion in to see if it helps.

To me this seems pretty clear that she has seen the CAB, wants to got o a solicitor, and is worried about a break up. I don't really see where hte shame on me comes in

I was advised to speak to citizens advice when my wife left me. Even though you're not married I'd still advise you to speak to them, and its free.

Can't say am any wiser, off to family law solicitor. I am sorry not fully explained previously, It is not about money but about ensuring a roof over my head for myself and children. My children are
my priority, although my sanity a close 2nd. Living in a lifeless relationship with negativity, and mental abuse common place.
