John played on Saturday. With 10, 250, 1000, 50,000 and 75,000 remaining he was offered 25,000. He turned it down, took out the three highest amounts, turned down 90, swapped his box and left with the tenner.
I felt really sorry for him, although do think he chanced his luck abit too much by not taking the 25k - he was one of the ones you get to know abit better, as he was always giving advice...unlike todays woman, who I can't even remember seeing before!
No sympathy whatsoever - he was greedy and should have took the 25K when offered it. Why would you turn down a guaranteed 25,000 in your back pocket against the possibility of maybe winning 50 or 75,000? You're either daft or greedy in my opinion.
