The first one I had in the US, brought it home and used it in the Uk till the step down transformer died. The second lasted for about 14 years and finally stopped getting hot enough to bake properly so i bought a new one earlier this year. I use it every week but not as often as every day.
My last one was Morphy Richards and it lasted for years. I have now purloined my Mum`s one which is also Morphy Richards. It`s called Fastbake and although the exact model is probably not made now, there will be a newer version. It is as good as my last one and pretty easy to use. The only complaint is that the paddle at the bottom makes and indent in the underside of the bread and I think some more expensive brands have a retracting paddle but that is hardly a problem for me. I`d definitely recommend Morphy Richards though.
