Just remembering - can anybody help here - I do not know how I done it but I have locked As Time Goes By and it is asking for my PIN to get watching it. Anybody tell me how to unlock - this is a first for me. Conne

The usual default Pin is 1234, try that.

Have you not had Sky long? You will have been sent a pin number (which you can change to something of your choice). If you've never used it before have a look through the paperwork that came with your box and card etc.

Thanks Sipo - I do have a pin thank god and can use it - but I really want rid of the locking thing. On the recorded site there is a lock.

Prudie I think I will have Sky for about 10 years but never came across this and have already stated I do have pin luckily enough.

OK so does the pin unlock the recorded programme you want? I have to use my pin regularly, in fact whenever I watch a film with an adult rating before 9pm.

Yes Prudie - it does unlock with the PIN and I too have used the PIN to watch movies.

pin is required if you are watching eg. a 15 cert, 18 cert. pre watershed, or if you've downloaded the same etc.

You might have pressed the 'keep' (blue) button in the menu whilst scrolling through your recorded programmes. It stops it being deleted unless you put in the pin, you can unlock by pressing blue again and using your pin.

Just to update I got the unlock off the sky - at the bottom of planner there is

A-Z VIEWED DELETE UNLOCK

So I hit unlock. That was good

On my Sky I found the pin was the last 4 digits of the card that you put in the sky box.
