Dog Ear

Okay, we know its a bad habit.

But, seriously ... we ALL dog ear paperbacks to mark our place, don't we?

I gave blood a few days ago, and took a book to read, obviously, and the girl who was connecting me had a RIGHT go at me for dog earing the page.

I mean, you don't argue with someone who's holding a needle in your arm, but ... well, I mean, crikey ... and it was MY book, after all.

No one puts a book mark in a paperback, do they ?

a slow reader with very long holidaas, obviously. I'm always back before any glue cracks up.

Wow, boxy ... that's fast reading.

I'd probably take three books, but get through a third of each of them.

Then the pages would fall out, lol

JJ, how will you finish a book quickly when you are scoping out everyone :)

I couldn't start a book before I've finished the one before....

How do you really get into the book, though, if you have more than one on the go? I like to read and finish, and move on to the next!

Just, different approach for different people?

At the mo I have about, ooh (checks on bedside table) eight books on the go.

They will take me for ever to finish.

Sometimes I need a bit of a thriller, or a bit of light, or a rom, or a fantasy, or something serious. I need them all available.
