Wireless Network Connection

My wireless connection is working but if i leave my computer for a short period the wireless connection is no longer connected and i have to go and connect it again by going to Properties etc etc etc. Is there any way i can fix it so that the wireless connection stays connected.

Strange. Is it set up to need to have activity or it will close after a period of nothing happening ? If so can the setting be changed: or can something be run in the background to keep the link open ?

Thanks OLD-GEEZER, i will check on the settings and make sure they do not affect the wireless connection. As i said it works but its just a pain to have to go and reconnect again.
