When i go to nightclubs I get alot of blokes grabbing my butt. Is there anyone out there that actually likes guys doing this? It annoys the hell out of me and I dont know why blokes thinks it might impress women.

Our youngest daughter got married some years ago, on 18th March. It was nice & sunny, but freezing cold. We all had a wonderful day, so it didn't really matter!

Er, i'm a bit late joining this and it's gone off topic, but on the original point.. Have you not thought of reporting these nasty skanky men to the bouncers of the club? That's what i've done in the past - bit less drastic than the police but you still get to ruin the sleazy git's night.. This one time my friends and i were all getting our ar5es felt by this guy on the dancefloor, and i turned around and said 'if you do that again i'll slap ya' or something to that effect. And he did it again, so i slapped him. Then he acted all surprised and said 'i thought you liked it' (!!!). Then my stupid boyfriend (at the time, no longer) went and apologised to this guy for my temper. Then i shouted at him. Then i went to the nearest bouncer blokey and pointed the sleaze out to him, and him and his mate got booted out. hurrah! :) That was the worst time. Normally you can just tell them to sod off and they do.

I am not that fussed to be honest. I dont like having my boobs grabbed and slipping a hand up my skirt or down my top or trousers would be met with a knee to the groin.

I used to work in a nightclub, and when the groups of guys used to come in, namely marines they would always make a big deal of asking to see my breasts...to the point that I would have them all singing it at me. I did however soon learn that if you actually just show em they get initimidated by you and soon **** ***.

Colombia man 'jailed over grope'

A bicycle courier in Colombia has been given a four-year jail sentence for grabbing a woman pedestrian's bottom, a TV station has reported.
A judge's ruling - criticised by some as being too harsh - ruled the courier had committed an abusive sexual act.

Diana Marcela Diaz told RCN that the courier had cycled off after groping her, but had been caught by passers-by.

When he was arrested, she was given the option of slapping him, letting him go, or filing a complaint.

She had chosen to set a precedent that would stop sexist behaviour, she said.

RCN described the sentence as historic, but some lawyers condemned it as excessive.

A female member of the national ombudsman's office said the courier had only acted out of lust.

"He didn't use violence or commit a sexual act," she was quoted as saying.

Silly men and boys on alcohol - that gives them false courage to think they can touch a woman up. Its ridiculously childish! Its the ones who aren't drunk and do this sort of thing - they are truly dangerous . They see most women as easy. Be wary of all men really - until you really get to know them. Don't be a limelight hooter in public - especially in the chippee or kebab takeway! There are lots of ingnorant predators out there!

My worst experience was when I was out with friends having a dance, as u do and this guy came over infront of everyone and put his hand on me. Not my butt, breasts or legsetc I think u know where Im refering to ladies and I felt completely violated. I was wearing a pair of baggy jeans and a oversized top so please dont say I was dressed tarty. I went straight to the bouncers who had a word with him, but I still felt really bad, it ruined my night. Grabbing my butt is unfortunately one of those things Ive gotten used to( not condoning it like) but to touch someone their is most def sexual assault, Good job my boyfriend was not there.

Well, I'll be the voice on unreason...

Although I have never done it, and would not condone it, I can see why it happens:

Ladies, if you want to go displaying your wares, then you're going to get some men who want a free sample. (Of course, as commonsense pointed out, it can happen even if you've got the metaphorical blinds down). It's not right or excusable that it happens, but it's going to happen. (I could also add that the "Jack-the-Lad get in a free grope type" seems to have more luck with the ladies than the "hands to himself perfect gentleman").

BTW, you gals do realise that in those "low rise" trousers that are so popular, every time you bed down, crouch, or lean forward you display more butt cleavage than your average brickie?
