Screen-Shot
5 Answers
Hi there tekkie AOB peeps .... I made a screen-shot today for the first time, via my office computer. the keyboard I use at work has a "screen-shot" key, so it was very easy. However, the keyboard I use at home does not have a screen shot key - is there a combination of keys to press so I can do this at home. I thought I was extremely clever doing this at work today, but now that I'm using my home keyboard, I can't see how . Many thanks, hope someone can help.
Best wishes, Chox.

Note that Alt+Print Screen will capture the current WINDOW rather than the whole desktop.
Also note Windows 7 (and I think Vista and maybe 8) has a program built in called Snipping Tool that can capture an area of the screen and save it as an image (jpg, png etc).
You use the mouse to "draw" a box round the area you want to capture.
