Just a general Q as big bro is 'onit.. but how far do house clearance people go.. ie.. if we've taken family trinkets but still the bookcases are laden with 1979 Encylopidea's, will be have to pay extra for the 'fodder' and not just the furniture.. Blimey, this orphan malarkey is a chore and a half!!!

They will come in look at the contents give you a price for everything....be sure to remove what you want to keep first !
Hippy, you don't pay, They take everything that you don,t want and pay you. X
In my experience, it depends. If they see enough re-sellable stuff they'll pay you. If there's a load of old junk you'll probably have to pay them to take it away.
If the property is full of items unwanted by you, then there's a good chance that very few others want them.If this is the case then you will pay the clearance company for their time ,transport costs and disposal costs.Believe it or not they need to make a profit.
I wish, Sparkles

As said, invite them in and they'll quote you for the lot as it is.
