Maybe the time has come for motorists and passengers to accept that when they get in a vehicle whiplash is a possible hazard which cannot be insured against in much the same way as women accept they may twist their ankle when walking in very high heels.
I, too, have had whiplash and it took months before I had full mobility on my arms and neck. This was in the days before 'no win, no fee' solicitors and I didn't have legal expenses insurance. It didn't occur to me to claim for compensation for the whiplash, maybe because I got 6 months full sick pay from my employer at the time.
It's a difficult one - like back pain, too easy to fake and very difficult to disprove.
