You jest, surely?
Indeed, but where is the great initiative from the other side? For the sake of world peace, better they all be encouraged to abandon the nonsense that is religion altogether. This is nothing but a naïve pipedream.

naomi; No matter how much you would like it otherwise, religion isn't going to die away and this makes it important that more alignment takes place. Apart from a few individuals with warped beliefs, the vast majority of humanity, religious and secular, want to live in peace and harmony.
Change takes place slowly, but look at history and you will see, despite the violence in the world, people realise that we have to all get along by negotiation and peaceful means. Education is the key.
'Jaw-jaw is better than war-war.', and also Matthew 5:9.
I agree that education is the key, which is why I said the whole lot of them should be encouraged to abandon religion.

That's fine if everyone thinks the same way - but they don't.
