Smells

I live in a semi-detached house - my neighbours - ston't sleep - so much has happened within their families ( this very very very typing. I t is cractking me so much. too long to type.


How does their cooking spelss and lady cleans all dzy and night - the smells com e draft theur way to

to my bed . So how does the smell permeat so well. Then the small of smoke drafts over to. they do this at the back of their housbut smell wandersover to my front window. Not my typpos. syssterm so slow aAny body help me with that too Thanks

I know we used to get cooking smells from next door. Eventually figured it was coming through the loft, sneaking under the eaves I think.

When we insulated the loft, the smell stopped.

Have you scanned your computer?

What anti virus are you using? Have you installed malware?

conne, I used to get noise from next door echoing up the shared chimney (well, not shared, but the 2 chimneys were back to back and echo-y.

Definitely something up with your computer - have you got lots of screens open as well as this one?

From what Conne has said before, if I remember correctly, is that her computer is noisy and slow.

The first thing I would do is clean the fan before blaming programmes. When our fan was clogged up it sounded like an aeroplane taking off.

Insulate that may help with the smells and speak to her about the noise.

conn, id imagine you have a good relationship with your neighbours. have a wee chat with them. good luck with your comp problems .

Usually with PC issues the same things need to be checked. Scan for malware, check memory available, check what you are running on start-up. Try one of the other similar threads for suggestions.

As for smells. Well even if it gets out of their house it must be entering yours for you to be able to notice. Check for draughts and suchlike indicating gaps.

Well well it is typing far more faster now. No I wasn't complaining. Just wondered. ie how that can happen. Doesn't bother me one bit.

System is very slow - typing and getting onto my various sites takes for ages.
