I'm reluctant to tackle decorating, etc on my own. I worry about over taxing myself,as I feel I need to conserve energy for the three days I still work. Much as I look forward to ,my days off- I dread retirement as work gives me a focus. My daughter is not nearby, and other family is across the Atlantic. I do feel quite isolated sometimes...especially when I need a shoulder to moan on.

I would advise anyone who loses a partner when young not to spend the rest of your life grieving, it's a lonely life on your own. We all need someone.

Myself and Mr puss live on our own together, and at times i pray for some space apart, and get stuck in a good book or other stuff.
Very rarely he leaves the house without me, and when he does, I'm watching the clock for he's return! He's into steam R/way, so it isnt too often.
Would be lost without him.
