Champions League On Bt Sport Only
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ sport/0 /footba ll/2487 9138
From 2015 BT Sport will have exclusive rights to show all Champions League matches, so no more matches on ITV or Sky. But BT are going to do us all a favour by showing at least one match involving each participating British team for free every season, so that could be as few as 5 games during the whole season.
If you don't already have BT Sport will this be enough to make you pay for that channel? Personally I won't, so will just have to watch the game highlights on the news programmes the following morning.

My main problem with watching online is that I simply couldn't be bothered with it on a regular basis. I'd rather pay for something of better quality without having either to make do with a small screen or mucking around with cables plugged into my TV screen.
With Barcelona, their La Liga games will still be on Sky - and in the unlikely event BT Sport snaffles up La Liga also then you can always switch to BT Sports.

I think Bt Sport have massively overestimated the interest in the Champions League. Most of the early group stage games are pretty poor and it won't be a massive loss to miss them. It only really gets interesting when it becomes knockout and there's a big tie between two favourites. Just another example of the contempt in which football fans are held in this country. Don't pay, I say.
