....weekend in Edinburgh for the Memsahib and I. Scotland v South Africa on Sunday and though we might get thumped it'll be great to see South Africa play again......

If the rain holds off, and the ground doesn't look like a fen, I'll plant some tulips. I say 'some' but, looking in the box, I see that it is about 200 and I haven't started yet. In the morning, I shall go down the village, to have a bacon and egg roll and coffee with the rest of the "widows and orphans" in the Village Hall; we have a lot of really old villagers, so I am the youngest there some weeks..

A daytrip to London for us tomorrow, with lunch and a show. Sunday will be spent at home catching up with the chores.
