We got cheap ones for £12 from Tesco, they work perfect, I wouldn't see any reason to spend a lot of money on fancy ones, I don't see them doing anything different.

Tog 10 in summer and tog 15 in winter.

Not sure it matters much. They all work. Some are lighter than others. I have down, I didn't ask what language it spoke. Only pain is how the filling always works it's way to one end after a while, no matter what amount of shaking you do.

I love my wool duvet. It drapes round my body so no draughty gaps. Best duvet I've ever had - and I've had very expensive down, cheapy microfibre and midrange duvets.

I've just bought a feather and down duvet. £89.00. I loved it and then bought a flannelette duvet cover and used it for the first time last night. I had the cosiest night's sleep in a long while.

I favour natural as It drapes much better than artificial fibre and is better for regulating temperature.

I'm still on a 4.5tog duvet and am astonished to learn that Ratter has a 10tog through the summer, that is my winter weight!!!

and if you put your old quilt under the bottom sheet you will be even cosier chrissa like sleeping on a cloud -rosy

Never buy microfibre duvets - they're in the same league as polyester sheets.

Friend has very bad skin on her face which drove her mad as she tried everything to get rid of the spots and blotches. Turned out she was allergic to her down pillows and duvet. She bought microfibre and her skin cleared up within the month. Have always used microfibe myself and have no complaints.

Ours are microfibre, like ratter I buy from Tesco or Argos, we keep the same tog all year and it's fine. I don't see the point of splashing out on something you have to dry clean regularly. If it gets very cold, we stick a blanket on the top.

Well i prefer Goose Down Or Goose Feather duvets.. tog 13.5 they are ideal for winters and also useful for a chilly autumn or for cold homes. Goose feather and down duvets have a high fill power and provide warmth and comfort whilst being very light.
