I`m going to see it next week. I`ve been waiting ages for it to be released. If Oprah Winfrey`s performance is anything like it was in The Colour Purple, she should be very good.

If I remember rightly, she played the downtrodden mother and she played it very well.

She was on the Jonathan Ross show tonight with Forest Whittaker who plays the butler. She was good on the show too, very interesting. I will have to see that film.

I just checked on youtube. Her husband in the film was Harpo. Did she have her production company before the film?

Harpo Productions was founded in 1986 and The Colour Purple was released in 1985

I have seen it tonight and it is very good. Oprah Winfrey is outstanding IMO.
