First Christmas Card . . .

Has anyone else received their first Christmas card yet ? Mine came today ( properly addressed) - but from people I have never heard of !

Yes, we got one this morning, it was from Canada - we haven't opened it yet, too early!

we've had cards like that in the past then when we check, it's a different name on the envelope at our address!

haven't been on holiday for a while. Never heard from these folk before, as I usually keep a record of cards received.

I got my first one yesterday from my neighbour who also said she was moving house. I came home from work around 9 yesterday morning as I was ill and saw the removal van outside my house. Didn't take much notice as I went up to bed and slept for several hours.

Yes, we have received four now. The first one came two weeks ago! None of them are from abroad.

I've receive a Christmas card, last weekend I saw a car with a Christmas tree poking out of the boot and yesterday evening I saw 2-3 houses with Christmas lights on!

I'm working my way up to start writing them. I won't send them for a good fortnight, but I'd like to get the writing out of the way.

We got our first one on Tuesday, we went out for dinner with 6 other friends. One couple handed out cards to everyone. I haven't opened it yet, it seems so wrong somehow, but each to their own.
