Steamed Cabbage.
8 Answers
When I have used my steamer to cook cabbage, I find that the cabbage is not very warm when served on the plate. Even if I dish it out last and then put gravy on, it still seems cold in comparison to everything else on the plate.
Would it be better to do it in a small saucepan with a tiny bit of water in the bottom? I don't like soggy cabbage though.

At Xmas when Ive lots of different veg, I put them into a large casserole dish with lid, when cooked and keep them hot in the oven until everyone is sat down with turkey on the plate. Then place the casserole dish on the table. It seems to stay piping hot until everyone has helped themselves
