December Birthstone

Is the December birthstone Tanzanite or Turquoise? I've been looking for a special gift for my Mum-in-law's 65th birthday. I've googled but got different answers from different sites. Can anyone tell me which one it is please?

Here it's always been turquoise and it's my birthstone, not keen on it either!
