When I was congratulating Society on their birthday I just realised that my brother will be 77 today. I haven't seen or heard from him since he was 65 at our dad's funeral. Sad the way things go sometimes.

I am estranged from all of my so-called family. I have a handful of good friends who are more family to me than the other lot ever were.

Very lucky with my family. All nice people.

Very lucky with the in laws as well. My partners mum is one of the nicest people I know.

My partner's mum and dad are lovely too ummmm, they are much loved by all 5 of their sons, son's partners and many grandchildren :)

I'm glad you have them. Your upbringing sounds horrendous (I don't mean that in a bad way)

Despite all the stupid arguments I have with my mum and dad I still love them. They help me out a lot and I really appreciate it.
