In May I sold a jumper on Ebay for 99p and posted it off to the buyer in Jerusalem of all places. She emailed me (and sent a pic) as there were two pinprick holes in the jumper I hadn't noticed. I apologised, told her not to bother returning the jumper and gave her a full refund.
On Saturday I received a package from this lady, containing THE most beautiful 100% cashmere scarf with a note saying that honesty should be rewarded.
Wasn't that a nice gesture?
The kindness of people never ceases to amaze me.

That's a lovely experience - karma doing its thing.
Good for you mrs overlooked, it's time you had some niceness in your life!
I'd be well chuffed.

You'll remember this kind thought for the rest of your life; it'll be in happymemorybank...
I am now finding all my clothes with holes in to put up for sale on Ebay!

Ok, not all of them, I need some to wear!
Ah what a touching story for Christmas Mrs O. How rewarding for YOUR niceness too, it shows that in this often dreadful world there is still some "goodwill to all men" left. Happy Christmas! X
PS Can you see me wearing your jumper in my avatar? ;)
That's such a lovely gesture!

But does the scarf match your marigolds, Mrs O?
What a lovely gesture Mrs O, proves there is still a lot of kindness in the world.
