Going to thailand for a month and a half and need a 60 day tourist visa.
Does anyone know if i have to go to london to get this?

Surely if someone is far from london there is a way to get this without going there?

TIA

If you're a UK citizen, it doesn't look at though you do need a visa. But, if you do, you'll find details of how to go about it here:

Be careful, there are a load of sites out there that appear to be official, but are merely half-way houses and will charge you for something that is normally far less costly. This appears to be the official site.
itchy feet again, lumi? There are visa companies that will do it for a fee, which might be less than the train fare. I'm not sure beyond that; you may be able to do it by mail.
the ones SeaJayPea mentions appear to be just for 30 days max
Here's the application form and from what I can see you can do it by post, I'd ring them though incase the form is out of date.
