Everything Tastes Bitter

Hi there everything I eat or drink tastes bitter I have noticed this since yesterday morning any idea what this could be never had it before.

Bit of a long shot but have you eaten pine nuts recently? My Mum and a friend both had this after eating pine nuts. It's called Pine Mouth. Think it just lasts a few days. If not, then I have no idea!

Do you have a cold which is numbing your scent and taste buds? or any problems with your teeth? - leaky fillings or a bad tooth taste metallic.

Have you started taking any new drugs - sometimes that can cause a metallic taste.

It was on of the symptoms I had about 4 years ago, leading up to a serious illness and surgery!

Gordie, it was Endocarditis and ended up with surgery, not nice

but don't panic, gordie - eliminate the less lethal possibilities first as mentioned in other posts, before you start worrying about surgery

Baldric's experience is interesting - many years ago, suddenly everything I ate tasted excessively salty, the following day I went down with flu.
