re iPod switch off

Sorry to be a nuisance but I still cannot get the iPod to go off.I have held the "pause" button down for about 20 seconds and the screen still does not go blank.Any ideas ?

I might add that the iPod is connected to the station when not being used.Could this be anything to do with it ?

i had this problem too but it only happened to me once.

i just let the battery run out, however why dont you try resetting it, by pressing menu and select and holding them down?

other than that ive not got a clue!

I think I will let the battery run down and see how that goes.

Hey .... Head to www.ipodgarage.com and have a look around the forum there. If you can't find your answer, post a Q and you are bound to have a handfull of answers within hours. They are really helpful and have stopped me from 'crying over my pod' many times.
