IP address when using laptop
If I use my laptop when I am out and about, will the IP address that is "attached" to any e-mails or forum postings be that of the transmitter (or whatever it is) that my laptop is using at that particular time or does my laptop have its own unique IP that goes with it wherever I am?

Just to add,
The IP address is assigned to your computer by whatever server it connects to. If you're at home, it'll be your ISP's server at the other end of the phone line. (If you have a router, you'll have an internal and external IP.)
So as above, this will change depending where you're connecting from.
All network devices also have a MAC address, which is (meant to be) unique to your laptop; your wifi card will have one, as will your bluetooth chipset, ethernet chipset, etc.
