Well, she is out of the Australian Open beaten by Ana Ivanovic. First victory for Ana over Serena. That clears the way for two or three possible winners. Reason was a bad back which she had for a few days. (I bet Craft will be pleased.)

I'm surprised Serena was beaten. I can only see either Maria Sharapova or Victoria Azarenka winning now.
