My friend's a Potter Tilly and as such works very much on her own. She's not the most outgoing person in the World but joined U3A and goes to 3 or 4 of their clubs and loves it. We have play reading, scrabble, mah Jong, nature groups, 3 levels of walking groups, guitar, French, crafts, computers, photography, local history. As you can see lots to do. Go for it it will change your life, it did ours.
