Have an outfit for the wedding (black and silver) but dreading putting on high heels - black. These heels go with the outfit.

But do have another outfit - with another colour reddy with patent reddy shoe/boots. and a beautiful reddy bling bag.

Is it bad looking to go to a wedding wearing flattish shoes. Ta for any advice

Absolutely not, conne - you wear what you like. It's the bride's day, what the guests wear is secondary, and I'm sure you'll look good!

I have been known to go to the ceremony wearing posh shoes, but with flatties in my bag to change into after the photos have been taken :-)

I never, ever wear heels. Didn't even wear heels when I got married. Go for the comfiest option.

conn, im sure either outfir will be lovely, but you will enjoy the wedding more if you are comfortable..weddings can be a long day.

go in the red thing - black is not suitable for a wedding - altho I (was the only one to notice) to a wedding where the grandmother had recently died and the mother of the bride wore black - very victorian !
looked OK tho'

go barefoot if you want - but be careful in the church yeard

If you have a big bag, you can slip a paid of flatties into it without anyone being any the wiser :-)
