not exactly gardening as its a houseplant, but I have a weeping fig (ficus) which I think needs to be in a bigger planter so what compost would I use as I don't have any spare at the moment so will need to buy some, thanks all

The Royal Horticultural Society ought to know their stuff. Quote:
"Grow in loam-based potting compost, such as John Innes No 3, with added fine bark chippings. A peat-free multi-purpose compost will also suit.
Repotting should be carried out in spring, approximately every two years"

Any multi purpose compost will do.

If you push some 'Osmocate' pellets into the compost it will keep the leaves looking healthy and shiny.

They hate being moved or disturbed so expect some leaf loss jesmond
