I know this should probably be in shopping, but has anyone had shoes made to measure and if so was it worth the money, and is there anywhere you would recommend. Thanks.

Yes - Duckers in Oxford - behind Worcester College - magnificent - the first pair will set you back £1500-2000 - because of all the tailoring involved - then you can order up from anywhere in the world. The other thing is that they can easily build you shoe back up if it is damaged, so they are really for life and do they fit......because they are so custom-fitted.
I wore them for walking holidays and found they offer good support. They might very well pass for ordinary shoes in the dusk with the light behind them ;-)

humber......packed in 30 years ago.....only had a Havana Cigar (Cohiba) after dinner in the evening, for about 5 years.

I made the mistake of buying some North Face boots (after 2 pairs of. Bras hers). Can't wait for the buggers to wear out so I can go back to Brashers.
I see they do a rather natty co-respondents shoe, the two-tone ones.
Sqad...sure you're not my ex ? He went to that cigar shop too....mind you he did have good taste ....Lol....till I cut and ran !!
murray.....naaaah! you would never have left me.......and i wouldn't let you go.

Pass me a bucket.
^o fer goodness sake, you rogue....
The world's ill divided. Bespoke suits, hand made shoes, and fine Cuban cigars for some, while others, such as myself, had to make do with Woodbines and clothes from the Littlewoods catalogue. :-(
LOL.....
Shucks blush....he was a bit of a smoothly too....!! ...Lol...xxx
Don't forget your brown racing trilby hat, sandy....a key essential for Aintree.
it's manners maketh the man sandy, nothing else
I enjoy a good Cuban too.

She was amazingly cheap.

Nope, a good Cohiba, Trinidad or MonteCristo after a dinner is a treat - I smoke about 3 a year. Detest cigarettes and when folk smoke at the table.....yeuck - intercourse cigarettes I call them.
Yes. I want the day to come when everyone can afford a titfer from James Lock. I'm a champagne socialist. If a hat's good enough for the nobs it's good enough for the workers, too.
