N W Lancashire 30mile north of Blackpool. We live on elevated position next to Morecambe Bay and the really scary stuff has just got to our house. Yes it's scary all right. How is it with you???
BOO Tooth doctor at 0900 Friday. "Bring something to read" she said. One has to sit around till there is a window of opportunity , then I'll get examined.
Saw a bit of Blackpool on the news, they lost the link, the reporter had been waiting to report from there and looked battered, It looked really bad there. In West yorkshire, high winds a rain here and very noisy, it's not stopped OH from watching the footie though. :o(
We get, obviously, that news and I have to ask "Why on Earth do these reporters have to brave the elements, so??" What do they hope to gain by being soaked to the skin, battered by the winds and frozen half to death when they could take a bit of shelter. Do they think we would not believe them when they tell us "Bye gum it's bloody windy here in Blackpuddle .Loook me flat 'at's become a frisby!!""
On the N. E. coast of Yorkshire the wind has sneaked around to deliver an left hook from the sea. Those of us who have the sea views are paying the price.
