thank you all for your good wishes.I can report back that we all had a sooper time...meal was great, company was better,don't know about the wine as i was dry ,:0(..someone had to stay sober in charge of 20+ elderly peeps, but they all imbibed with great gusto..some too much...lol...have already had a phone call from one..think I left my coat ! which they did..will collect later and return to owner...had to remind mum that she has invited the horde to come to house on Saturday to eat the cake and have more drinky poos...did I ? she said this morning ? lol...but most importantly dad had a great time..he appreciated all I did ..but they are both my world and I would do anything to make them happy...it was a day I had doubts I would see this time last year..and for that I am eternally grateful to everyone who treated him , offered me and mum a kind word, the church..not even our catholic one but the other who knew of dad's illness, who offered prayers, strangers who lit candles and all the kindness shown to me here by you lovely people. I am truly humbled and grateful to each and every one.

I thank you for your your nice words concerning my mug shot , which I mailed to some of you, taken just before I left for the do last night, it makes a change to get a bit of lippy on and shed the old wellies ! lol...anyone on face book if you find me send me a request you'll get to have sight of loads of pics...
