Is there anybody been on answerbank since its birth in 2000? I've only been on here since about 2007. What was it like in the early days?

In the old days it was just two tin-cans joined by a string, and if you wanted to start a new thread you had to add another piece of string. Quite tedious it was:)

as the links confirm, I am indeed the first member of the AB community - i have been here every day barring holidays or illness since the start - and I fully intend to be here until the end - which ideally will be mine - rather than the AB's!

Cweusly, apparently one of the first genuine contributors and one of my all time favourites, (however much he abhors worshippers). But he hasn't been seen wandering any of the hallways lately. :o(
