Royal Mail next day delivery

I was just wondering if there is a certain time of the day ( during post office opening hours) that your item wouldn't be delivered next day before 12 noon an example if you showed up 15 mins before the post office closed.

There's no such 'time limit' as far as I'm aware. At work, we send out quite a lot of post by special delivery and our lady who does the post takes it with her on her way home, which means she gets to the post office literally 5 mins before closing time and it's never a problem.
