He seem to be having a difficult time in the Acapulco tournament. On the verge of losing in the quarters, he managed to escape from losing and turned the match around winning 6.2 in the end. He's been slow to start in all his matches so far, hopes he gets fitter soon as he'll need to get going to get all his points and his ranking place back.

Yeah it's looking like 2014 could be a tough season for Murray. Last year Nadal came back from a long time out due to injury and won basically everything; Murray isn't, although he's got a good chance of winning this tournament now. He's defending 1000 points next month as he won at Miami so we might see him climb up to 5th or even 4th and then slip back down again, most likely. Still, you never know!

Incidentally, how lovely to see the victory of Federer over Djokovic today, too! He's still up there with the best it seems, after a disappointing 2013 season.

No joy for Andy Murray who lost an apparently tight match to Dimitrov -- but Federer won his first title of the year in style, beating Djokovic and Berdych on the way to his sixth title in Dubai. Could this year see the end of the "Big Four"?
