I am for people power and freedom of speech, I don't even mind taking a punt or two (rarely) but disgusted by this.

Whilst the whole thing may be in bad taste, having looked at the prices PP are offering, makes me wonder if they know something. A guilty verdict is 2/7, not guilty 9/4.

Just checked again, chewn, and the odds are as i posted.

chewn; i have just gone through the motions of putting a bet on a guilty verdict and the price i would be given were i to actually log on and place the bet is 2/7. The price on any bet is bound to fluctuate and perhaps the odds compilers at PP had originally believed that Pistorius would walk free, seeing as how they originally quoted 7/4. However, having listened to the evidence so far, they have obviously had a change of mind.
