Help please. I have booked a flight to Barra, and was looking on tripadvisor for acc. and they all get great reviews. Im lost as to know where to choose.I dont have any preference as to where. I am a 66yrs old women and quite fit and still enjoy walking, though not hills anymore. I also love the sea and the beaches look amazing . Is there a bus route close by, so I could see the rest of the island. I havent booked transport home yet ,is there a bus that would take me to Benbecula for a couple of days and I could fly home from there.
What about the ferries? I would be sailing to Oban for a train to Glasgow .
I know I could probably find this info on a web page but would like to hear
your suggestions and info. Thanks

Thanks I appreciate your your help with the websites Will look them up
Barra is beautiful although when we were there the plane never actually managed to land on the beach. We stayed at the Castle View and it was very good. Can't help with buses as we had a car but we did catch the ferry back to Oban. Beaches are fantastic. If there are no buses I would consider hitching a lift. I'm certain you will be quite safe!
