Hi - Has anyone got any ideas what I should buy for an eighteen year old girl. I haven't seen her or had any contact for the past 10 years, but I would like to get her something special. Apparently, she is one on the 'it' girls at school if that helps - Thanks for any help I am a bit 'out of it' these days!

Hi toby99, I have the same problem LOL my niece is going to be 18 soon.

She adores Vera Wang perfume and 212 Sexy Carolina Herrera (I think).

I am going to get my niece a piece of jewellery, probably a white gold T-Bar necklace, its her favourite style just now.

Hi Beads, I am not sure really as it just depends on what I find, also I don't want to spend too much as I really don't know her anymore or what she likes and it could end up just being left in a drawer or passed on. I am looking for something different rather that expensive.(not much help I know!)

Hi toby, i agree with haysi, some nice perfume, or jewellery, i also think that a voucher would be a good idea, i know it's not the same as opening a present, but she could get something she wanting with the voucher.

Lordy, that's a hard one if you've not seen the girl for all that time and you don't know what she's into. If she is on of the 'IT' girls at her school, a nice peice of make up may not go a miss. As in a really nice mascara (YSL/Dior/Lancome) etc.

Most females are wearing the Links of London Sweetie Bracelet. You could find out if she has one of these and if so perhaps get a charm for it?

Toby99-My local Morrisons supermarket sells gift vouchers for some of the high street stores that girls shop at.I bought a �25.00 for New Look for each of my daughters and they loved being able to choose their own stuff instead of pretending they liked what I bought them.lol.
