For a flower/shrub to plant in the garden in remembrance of my dog Gypsy. Please don't suggest a rose bush. I'm not much for roses.
The only thing I can think of is Gypsophila paniculata. Any other suggestions, please.

Is there a shrub with gypsy in the name? I have a few roses or shrubs which contain my grandchildren's names which always makes me smile.

There's a purple clematis called Gipsy Queen.

If you want something that will be there all year round(There are some rather lovely variegated evergreens)

Some lovely suggestions there folks. Thanks Slack Alice, for the link. I might look for thr Grysp Romance iris. I like irises.
