I have no qualms about watching 'gay' scenes but I prefer any sex scenes to be discreet and leave something to the imagination - certainly not the naked rolling round the floor together stuff when I am still eating my tea - and although I live alone I would not have wanted to watch this with my mum and dad as it made me feel very uncomfortable.

Jim - I think the problem is for some of us older viewers - in our younger days because it wasn't spoken about publicly, it now seems very abnormal behaviour to us being shown blatantly on our TV screens. We know gay relationships have always existed but they were far more discreet years ago, now they are just the opposite, TV producers for example, seem to take great delight in making some people feel uncomfortable. //

I stopped watching it two years ago and haven't missed it at all. I had been a fan since the first episode.

I didn't watch the programme so didn't see the scene being referred to.

If two adults kiss before the watershed and it doesn't breach any of the stipulated guidelines I don't see the problem.

It has made for uncomfortable viewing especially the Todd Marcus storyline practically naked in the house they were viewing I don't have children watching but would have felt embarrassed with them, Corrie is practically Tea time viewing, we all know these situations exist but years ago they were handled discreetly now producers aren't happy unless we have full exposure.
