The only ZZoroastrian word to have entered english is

Mazda

it means light apparently
Not good at Geography Dee - where in the world is it please? Iran/Iraq?
Really? Up here it means maternal grandfather.
Parsee/Farsi = Persians (Iranians)

But Freddy Mercury was one, I think
Now googled it and found the answer. Never heard of it so good education on here!

my friends now live in California, I first met them when I lived in Sharjah U.A.E over 30 years ago & have been to their family weddings etc.
As far as I know these Parsi people were persecuted and driven out of Persia many centuries ago.
They are known to be very canny with money, and yes Freddie Mercury was a Parsi.
