I've looked at photos of it on Tripadvisor and it does look very built up and touristy. However, we will have a car so we can escape if needed! Whatever, I know we'll have fun and find loads to do. x
Fuengirola. A large town about 10 miles west of Malaga, on the costa del Sol In the province of Andalucia. A beach resort favoured by many, Brits included. Its made up of many streets, some only wide enough for 1 car
There is evidence of Roman occupation and Arab (A castle to the west)
The town holds a very large flea/fruit and veg market on a Tuesday morning. And a very large car boot/antiques market on a Sat morning.
There are plenty of shop/bars/restaurants in the town, and a Zoo.
It is easily reached from Malaga centre or from the airport via the Cercanias electric train every 20 min. The train calls at Torremolinos and Benalmadena amongst other stations. http:// www.ren fe.com/ EN/viaj eros/ce rcanias /malaga /
