Wasn't sure if this should have gone in animals but thought here would be better lol

Why, when our cat brings home some dreaded little friends it is only ever me that gets bitten?

We have had an infestation of fleas (£45 to get the house fumigated) and I am bitten all over the place but no one else has. Not that I want them to go through this irritation but as of last count I have 14 bites and the rest (OH and two children) have none.

Something in the quality of your blood, cassa - I'm exactly the same with mozzie bites. OH can be bitten and bitten and nothing happens - I get bitten, it flares up and I know about it for weeks.
Your smell and blood are most attractive. I once read that Mosquitos are attracted to you if you've been drinking wine.
I don't get bitten either.
Must be how you smell or what you're blood's like. When we go away I get destroyed by mossies, my OH not at all and the kids just a little bit.
I am another person whom the biters love. I went into a really infested house once as part of my job. The person who lived there couldn't understand it as he never got bitten. The colleague who went with me got a few bites here and there and I was totally covered with gaps only where my clothing was tight against my body, eg trouser waistband, the tops of my socks and so on.
OH reckons that the fags and beer in his blood put them off - me being virtuous, they look at him and head in my direction :-)

I wonder who they would go for if w were all in the same place lol

They even took their revenge in their death throws they bit me to pieces. Hiding in my clothes as I sapped them. Little blighters.

Now every little itch or movement in my clothes I am convinced it is a bite!!
Lol, that must be it Boxy.

Right, I'm off to get 20 Marlborough and a six pack :)
Apparently the little blighters don`t like garlic.
My previous dog was given garlic in liquid form each day on his food. the pores of his skin give out the garlic scent. Never used Frontline on him.
If you can get this into your cat to start with & you don`t mind the smell of garlic then it may help. Vampires beware!
Good luck
