Annoying Pop-Ups!
3 Answers
Recently I have been bombarded with a pop-up urging me to download Media Player Classic. When I close it down I get another pop-up saying my Flash Player is out of date and needs updating. This goes on non-stop. Have I unwittingly downloaded something which has opened up my system to these pests?
Your advice would be extremely well-received (Bearing in mind that I would need it in a very simple format!!).
Thanks a lot friends.

Download, install and run the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware, which will probably fix the problem. (If not, please post again):

NB: When installing, take care to deselect the option to take a trial of the 'PRO' version. When running it, select the 'quick scan' option but don't be surprised when it takes well over half an hour to run. When the scan finishes, click to see the results and then click again to remove everything that's been found.
